I want us to close our eyes and imagine for a minute..

Bring the children in our lives in front of our eyes and imagine that they are under threat.. I am scared and praying Astaghfirullah even thinking about this… but imagine that they could be lying in front of us with bullet wounds in their heads, in their eyes and in their chest.. Some of them with attempts of beheading.. you don’t know when and where it will happen but there is a great chance that it will happen..

How far would any of us go to prevent it…

I can bet that we who as Muslims believe that suicide is forbidden would put a rope around our neck to save them if that is what it would take…

صرف اور صرف یہ شہداء ِپشاور تھے کہ جن کی بابت قائدِ اعظمِ ثانی عمران خان نے اپنی زندگی کے سب سے بڑے، پیارے اور محبوب خواب " انقلاِبِ آزادی '' کو کچھ عرصے کیلئے موخر کیا ہے، جی ہاں نئے پاکستان کا وہ خواب جس کی خاطر اس کا اپنا گھر ٹوٹا، اپنے پرائے سب جان کے دشمن بن گئے، اس کی راتوں کی نیند دن کا چین جاتارہا، ہاں وہی خواب اس نے ان معصوموں کی قربانیوں کے بعد اُن ماوٴں کی جھولی میں رکھ دیا ہے جو ایسے لال پیدا کرتی ہیں کہ جب ایسی مائیں درد سے بلکتی ہوں تو عمران جیسی اولاد سب کام چھوڑ چھاڑ ماں کا درد بانٹنے ان کے قدموں میں چلے آتے ہیں.

IK has actually seen these horrific images and met those devastated parents.. We can see the pain on his face and we recognize it because it is a reflection of our pain… Our leader has taken the stance that we have to protect our people at ANY COST... We have been forced to face a war which is not on the borders but inside our homes our schools our communities… He has pledged to do whatever it takes to win this war… He is taken the lead and is asking us to follow…

So now we the people, instead of adding “as long as, ifs, ands, or buts” to our support to him on coming decisions, should trust him…

If nothing else we should be thankful to Allah that He has blessed us with a leader for whom our children are his children… For me there is no test beyond this one…
