Karachi is the most populated city of Pakistan and also known as city of lights but these days its importance in national politics is increased due to ongoing byelections. PTI is relatively a new party in Karachi's political scenario as compare to MQM, but actually the things which appeals us is a clear stance of PTI for the people of Karachi that they should have freedom of what they want to do and have a peaceful city without any political influence.

In my view its not a trend setting election or after the results we can say that for example if MQM win byelections they can not be in a position to say that they have a strong hold in Karachi but the margin tells us how much they gained and on how much they lost. Its just a byelection for PTI, win or lose do not have any effect on their politics in Karachi but loss by a big margin would be a disastrous situation for PTI, on the other hand it's a huge trial for MQM .

Margin of win is also an important factor in this election, if MQM wins it by 30k votes margin then it would be considered as a loss for them because then it would be supposed that elections were rigged by mqm, and it would be a moral victory for PTI.

Another is JI's rigid behavior , in some ways we may say that they are supporting MQM but in democracy everyone has a right to participate, still they have time hope so they should think on this aspect. Both can make a good case against MQM.
