A War: From Facebook to the Frontiers By Sohail Parwaz

Facebook has become the most popular and in use hangout of social media. Few years back it was merely a Face Book, as the name indicates and people would have a limited knowledge about its utility. However with the passage of time not only that the users came to know about its hidden and most effective and lethal utilization but the management also introduced many more aspects where it is quite workable and effective as a tool of disinformation, psychology and fifth column activities. The site is being charged for the crimes like hacking, cheating, impersonation, blackmailing, breaking marriages, degrading and insulting the innocent youth especially the feminine gender that is keener then the masculine gender to appear and present them on the Facebook. The Facebook, Twitter and other social sites are not the problem. These are in fact merely the tools and one need to learn how to use them wisely and to quit being a baby and practice a little self-control. The actual problem starts when the novice lays a hand on this booby-trap.

Keeping other negative aspects aside, let’s take the political baits the Facebook has laid since some time and of which the immature majority of our neighbouring dominion India is making abusive exploitation.

On one hand the Indians desperately desire to be the most favourite nation (MFN) with Pakistan while on the other hand the ruling party and the prime minister are deliberately promoting hatred against Pakistan, making violent statements, threatening next door neighbour and not only that making the Indian Muslims’ lives hell but also assaulting and harassing their guests and fine art icons from Pakistan. As they have done recently in case of Ghulam Ali, Khurshid Kasuri and now Fawad Khan and Mayira Khan.

A War From Facebook to the Frontiers By Sohail Parwaz1We were talking about abusive exploitation of Facebook by majority of the extremist elements of Indian society. The Indian television channel NDTV posted a thread ‘Remember We Are Also a #Nuclear -Armed country’, #Pakistan Tells India on August 25, 2015. Till today around 1300 users have liked the post, nevertheless, those who have spit venom and have ridiculed, abused Pakistan and Pakistanis are in abundance.

The later part of the article may be used for quoting some of the below ethics, hateful, cynical, scornful and disparaging comments made by the radical majority of India which reflects their utter hate and sheer loathe. While replying to the NDTV’s tempting post one Kapil Mehra wrote, “India has always treated Pakistan as an elder brother but Pakistan never deserved that as Pakistan has crossed line number of times still India behaved like an elder brother and forgave Pakistan again and again. Whole world knows it quite well. We Indian should be ready to sacrifice our lives for our great country. KYUNKI KUTTE KI PUNCH TEDHI KI TEDHI”. Neither any word has been changed in this comment nor will it be done in the approaching quoted posts. The aim is just to highlight that what the Indian government and the radical majority of Indians claim and portray and what actually they have in their hearts for Pakistan and Pakistanis. At the same time the standard of language and typos in most of the cases will reflect that what class is being brainwashed by the warmongers Hindutva flag bearers. Another Facebook user named Abhijit Dey expresses his views in this way, “we not act for the beneficial of political leaders of Kashmir, we act for the people reside in Kashmir. Ordinary citizens’ welfare is the agenda of Indian govt. not for political and separatist leader. India is democracy, and democracy is people power. So we treat citizens with love and respect their thought. Whatever happen in there in j&k is equal to all the rest of India. All things in world have virtue as their vices. U must understand it clearly. But what you see is your mind is jammed by talks of your leader. That is foe of humanity and well being of people. So for their political sustenance they exaggerate any matter”. Another hot headed youngster Saket Jha suggests to eliminate Pakistan and says, “bhai log naram attitude rakhne ka time gaya ab. Ab to maar kaat se baat hogi, ye sale piddio ki aukaat kya hai”.

A War From Facebook to the Frontiers By Sohail Parwaz2Another psychological operator Bharat Joshi deliberately drops a sugar quoted pill by saying, “I agree with Brij’s comments. Indians love Pakistani common people, cricketers, musicians and food. I know that likewise, Pakistanis love Indian movies, music, cricketers and food. It is the army and some fanatic idiots who are wasting Pak money in terrorist activities arms and ammunition rather than developing Pakistan. People of Pakistan should tell them, they want friendship with India and development”. And here comes a blunt warrior Ankarao Kokolu gives his verdict like this, “Pakistan having bombs is something like having coconuts in the hands of a monkey. They are born destructors. India should always keep our anti-missile squads ready to combat Pakistani nuisance”. Please have a look at one Sumanth Hindumane’s bragging, “Yeah Let’s talk about Nuclear power. Indian space program reached mars, but Pak couldn’t fire an indigenous rocket/weapon outside 300km. So it is very well known fact that, though they have Nuclear Warheads (Of course it is charity from China and America”.

A ‘nuclear specialist’ Satiyam Kumar issues his decree, “let’s say a nuclear war happens, but will Pakistan have the power to counter after the hit!!! Nope it is such a small country it will vanish!!! and the porkis should not forget India is also a nuclear country. All the time shouting we are nuclear, we are nuclear will not reduce your faqs”. One Arindam Bairagi is of the view that Pakistan is boosting more than its worth, “Pakistan is sitting on a giant bomb. “kisi din khud hi phat jayegaa”. The only country which uses its whole money and resources in making bomb guns and terror. “waise v jab balloon khud se hi jyaada foolta hai to khud hi phat jata hai“. Another fanatic Gurpreet Randhawa brags, “We go on war 3 times with Pakistan and defeated it and we still didn’t reclaim or captured their land after victory so Pakistan needs to learn from it… We have world 3rd largest army, 3 largest air force and one of the biggest navy in Asia that can fix Pakistan”. A day dreamer Anand Ram, most likely some Shiv Sena activist desires that, “I sincerely wish that PM Modi silently and suddenly nuke Pakistan during the night and this country somehow vanishes from the world map and there are no border problems anymore”.

It may be noted that only those comments are quoted where hate and extremism is expressed, whereas the comments that carry
vulgar language for Pakistan, its founder, the nation and the religion Islam are not mentioned here. The most worrying fact is that ever since Narendra Modi has sworn in as the prime minister of India there is a notable and alarming rise in the radicalism in India; largely against the Muslims and subsequently against other minorities like Christians, Sikhs and even their own low caste Hindus known as Dalits. Recently two Muslims were killed for slaughtering and eating cow meat. The blame was that they were doing it publicly whereas the reports and investigations suggested that they were killed by their neighbours after entering their house.

This is not the only case. In fact few days back a Sikh youngster was also killed by the RAW agent and the holy book Garanth wasA War From Facebook to the Frontiers By Sohail Parwaz3 burnt by unknown assailants. It appears as if the Indian society has lost its cool and it is gradually and discreetly been hijacked by the extremist elements of BJP and Shiv Sena. Above all the threatening statements by the national level leaders, who are expected to behave sensibly, are proving to be the cause for rising war fever in the Subcontinent thus leading to a serious strategic volatility in the South Asia which can turn into a flashpoint for a probable nuclear war in the region.

The Facebook can be taken as Fakebook but the mind that extremist and radical Indian public especially youth is giving there, can’t be taken lightly, hence Pakistan reserves the right to be ever vigilant and, in case of any inanity or adventure by the radical Indian decision makers, concludes that war on the Frontiers that starts from the incongruous Facebook pages. It’s high time for India to display maturity and responsibility.
